Forum Guidelines For Frontier Legends:
The following rules and guidelines have been written to keep posts civil and rewarding.
Basic Rules:
What is this forum?
This forum is for the discussion of old west re-enactment and American history.
Live chat however can be any topic you wish. (No name calling of members allowed on forum or Live Chat)
Why is this forum here?
To promote the hobby in both a helpful and friendly manner. To help share knowledge and advice.
For beginners/newbie's to find help.
To guide beginners on correct equipment to buy.
Who can join? The forum is open to anyone interested in Old West re-enactment and history.
Individuals 17 years of age or under are welcome on the condition that their parents/guardians are already members and will take responsibility for them, but are excluded from firearms section.
Forum Safety:
Please do not give out any personal information such as phone number, postal address, postal code, or anything you do not wish others to know. If you choose to ignore this request, Frontier Legends cannot be held responsible for the consequences of such action.
Forum members are asked only to provide name, general location and a photograph on their profiles.
Code Of Conduct:
All contributions must be civil and tasteful.
Topics to be generally western re-enactment and old west history related, with the exception of the Live Chat.
Replies to topics must be relevant and on-topic.
No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
Personal arguments are not for the forum.
No swearing or abusive language to be used as young people read the forum too.
No racism or degrading treatment of other members will be tolerated
Absolutely no posting of adult/pornographic material or images, this is a family forum and such action will result in an instant ban.
Miscellaneous Guidelines:
No swearing or offensive images are allowed in your signature.
A link to your own site/s & a quote/s is/are permitted in your signature.
Spell Check is your friend! Use it often.
Serious Violations Will Result In: Initial investigation to determine the cause, a temporary ban, or for serious transgressions your account will be deleted.
Any topics that turn into petty arguments will be locked, reviewed and if necessary, deleted. Frontier Legends staff reserve the right to delete any posts that violate these guidelines without having to notify the poster.
All present members or those considering joining must follow these guidelines as a condition of forum use, they are here to protect both your rights and those of your fellow forum members.
